Surprise!

This evening, the kids and I were supposed to be home alone till late night. While we were having our dinner, someone was opening our gate and the kids dashed to it and shouted 'Daddy'! I thought they made a mistake but I was wrong! It is Daddy! I was surprised! HC came back with a packet of his own dinner as he knew I would have not prepared his share of dinner. Well, he said 'Let's go to Botanic Garden for the movie under the stars!' I was really happy as I saw this advertisement the night before that there will be a movie tonight there. I was disappointed then because HC said he has a meeting.

So we all finished our dinner fast, HC and I washed the dishes and got the kids ready! We were all so excited. The show started at 8.30 pm and will end at 10.30 pm. We reached there only at 9 pm. It didn't matter, it was the fun to be out in the big Garden munching pop corns under the stars. HC and I were lost, not so sure what the movie was about. I was trying to catch up with the show, HC was worse - he lay himself comfortably down on the picnic mat and relaxed away. I told Yun Shan to see if Daddy was sleeping. She went on top of him to check it out! So cute!

Jing Han was half the time glued to me. Taking my lap as his chair! He was pretty timid! Refused to stay away even by an inch from me... Yun Shan was better, she was running around in the dark but within our sight.

Although the show turned out to be a question mark to me, I really appreciate what HC has done. Actually, I didn't know what happen to his meeting. Whatever it was I enjoyed the night out!

Tomorrow we will be back in the morning with my PIL and BIL's family. Hopefully it will not rain... *Touch Wood*

Lunch with the Old Kakis

Last afternoon, I went back to my previous work place with my boy to have lunch with my good old lunch kakis. It was a lunch for Benji, the boy in our group. It was good to drop by and listen to the good old buddies... Their voices, laughter and again... my emtions came in but... I can only look forward now and not backward. For my kids, I have chose this path... I have to stay focus and not strayed from the purpose of my leave. All I can say is... I miss this bunch of people!

ha! just when i talked about being focus... my boy just came out of his room to pee... after bringing him to the loo, he is now sleeping in my arms. guess, he is the 'sign' to remind me to stay focus...

Jing Han turns Two

Jing Han is 2 year old already! Time flies...

We bought him a simple ice-cream cake, as usual 姐姐 made the choice . We did our own decor beside the cake with Jing Han's very own Thomas the Train & 姐姐的 Emily. ;-)

Mum's Fish Tank

This is my mum's tank of Gold Fish. What is so

special about it?

There are 4 gold fish like this one on the left without eye balls!!!! Someone in the tank is biting off eye balls from other fish! Err... so gross!!! These blind gold fish can only survive if they are fed, so if they don't get their food they will starve to death. poor things...

A Day @ West Coast Park

It was Satuday morning and we went to West Coast Park. We were there for an hour only but the kids enjoyed themselves. There after we had lunch at MacDonald's and I had my favourite Cappuccino, it is cheap and GOOD...

Monkeys see, monkeys do? the kids seems to be in the same directions in these pix. So funny to see them doing things the same way, people may think they are twins!

My New Investment

See... I've invested in a new frying pan! Ah Lao agrees to buy this frying pan if I am going to make full use of it. So I just do it! So far I have used it once, I'll have more chances in the coming days. Swee Nee, I'll feed back to you after a while!

My Plant

This plant I have brought back from the office. It doesn't seem to grow well at home... Wonder if it is missing the people at work. hmm...

Tiring Week

It has been a tiring week so far. Every night I've been sleeping at 1 plus... The kids only get into bed around 10 plus and then I'll need to clean up the kitchen. tough... I really need to get them in bed earlier so that I can have an earlier rest or have time to unwind myself.

A Visit to the Zoo

Last Saturday, my family went to the Zoo. This is not our first time there but we did many things differently. Jing Han went up on a pony ride! I was so proud of him because he is not even 2 year old... He is so brave!

Next was we went up on an Elephant ride as a family but for that I have no pix as we were all on the elephant. Yun Shan was sitting in front, followed by myself, 弟弟 and lastly Daddy. Yun Shan did not want me to hold her and she enjoyed the 'wobbly' ride.

It was a very hot day but everyone enjoyed it. By the time we went home, we were all dead tired but it was worth the trip. Many people have wonder how can we always spend a whole day at the Zoo. I don't know... Time seems to fly when we were there. Without knowing it, we always leave at the time when the Zoo is about to close...

Last Day of Work

Today is my last day of work... I am declared a Stay at Home Mum(SAHM) from tomorrow onwards. I left the office premises with heavy foot steps this evening. I thought I can handle the emtional side of me until last evening... I started to feel the sadness in me because I am going to miss the people whom I've enjoyed working with. I have been contemplating to start a BLOG for myself to stay contactable and update myself with my friends at work. I have decided to do it!

Bare with me as this is my first attempt... I will try to make this place a more interesting place than just WORDS... I am getting tired... Will update all of you more as the days go by... Better get into bed as tomorrow is a challenging day with a new Role. Good Night! (I hope I know how to get back here to add more postings)
