Old Feeling...

It had been a very long long time since my last run... I couldn't even remember when was it. This evening my family went to the stadium for a jog. After hc is done with his 3.2km then I went for my run. I am surprised by myself that I could go 3 rounds non stop. It is already an achievement to me... I just wonder if I can cover more rounds the next time or I wonder when will be my next jogging session again...

Foreign 'Talents'

I was at IMM this morning and at a Super Market there. At the cashier, the uncle infront of me was having some communication problem with a Chinese cashier. He seeked for my help after even talking Hokkein to her, her face was straight... No sign of urgency to help her customer. Uncle doesn't speak Chinese but English you see.

After finally getting the cashier to understand what the uncle wanted, he turned to me and said, "Don't understand why they hire these foreigners whom cannot communicate with us!". I don't know what came into me but I told him 'Wait till you go to the hospitals... My parents had communication problem with nurses! whom don't speak dialag or Chinese.' I guess uncle will have no problem since he speaks Enlish... I don't mean to curse him.

Who is In-charge?

Who is incharge of your life? To an adult like me, I AM INCHARGE! 加油! Life is not a bed of roses... Dark clouds will pass and there will be sunshine after a storm. Do you depend on others to cheer yourself up? I guess we tend to be influenced by others but we have to remind ourselves, we are incharge here and do we wanna waste our time on how others think or wanna spend their time? NO! Time will continue to tick no matter how we wish we can stop the clock. Continue to sulk, to whine and time will be wasted on these unconstructive actions!!!

How true... I learnt through the hard way but I am glad I am given a chance to grow, to shine. I see rainbow now... Eileen told me I'm the lighthouse of my household and with this in mind I perserve on... Now with my purpose in life, I am more focused and live life to the fullest.

Promise

I've looked under the Wikipedia for the word PROMISE and here is it's definition... "A promise (also called troth) is a psychological contract indicating a transaction between two persons whereby the first person undertakes in the future to render some service or gift to the second person or devotes something valuable now and here to his or her use. A promise may also refer to any kind of vow or guarantee."

What happened when a person said "I've over-estimated myself to the promise I've made..." Does that mean the person has broke the promise or he has even given up keeping to his promise?
