YS Pierced Her Ears

I must write this down. This afternoon, YS and I passed by the so called pro in ears piercing shop in JP so I just asked her if she wanted it? Bingo! She wanted so we went ahead. One thing I am not aware is the ladies got the 2 ear loops pierced at the same time! I think this is a good idea because YS said if it is pierced separately she might not wanna do it for the 2nd ear loop. She said it is painful. The thing is she didn't cry... Way to go girl!

Sorry Mummy

JH came to me a day after he rested at home since he is sick.
JH: Mummy I'm sorry I didn't listen to you...
Me: What did you not listen to me?
JH: I didn't listen to you to drink more water....

Ai yo... I think my son has grown up a little more mature lately.
I am so so touched...

谁幸苦?

JH was down with fever the other day... He was feeling very uncomfortable by the chill. He said his throat, neck and head were painful. Well, my boy didn't heed my advice, ate lots of biscuits without drinking lots of water. At that moment, I asked him “谁幸苦?” He said "mummy, because mummy needs to look after me." I was surprised when he said that... I told him "JH is too." I am so touched that my son appreciates mummy's love and care. I asked him the same question the next day and he said "JH and mummy..." My son never fails to realise that mummy does take good care of him when he is not well... 没有白疼你啦.

Kid's Thought

Me: Don't eat those else your stomach wil be upset.
JH: Mummy I want to eat those...
YS: Didi, don't eat those... Later your stomach will be angry...
HC and I have a good laugh! It is so funny what the kids have in their mind!

Toilet Talk

Sometimes you just cannot imagine what the kids are up to. Both of them needed to do THE BiG business and luckily for S'poreans who stay in HDB 4-rooms flats and above, there are 2 toilets in a unit. (not sure about 3-rooms)

You know what?! Both of them started to chat in their respective toilets. Shouting out loud to each other and having a normal conversation in 2 separate toilets! Asking each other to wait for one another to come out from their respective toilets when they are done. Asking each other if they are done... Oh dear...

Both hc and I always enjoy this sort of moments when the 2 kids play in harmony. According to hc, in some mornings the 2 walk hand-in hand to the carpark! So sweet...

UpDaTe

It has been a long while since I last updated this blog. Recently, I have been pretty caught up with things happening to me, kids and other bz.

1. YS is now 50cm away from my height. I bet she'll be taller than me when she is a lady.

2. I went for interviews at a special school and thought this is it! Well, princpal felt that I have no experience with a kid during a simulation and thus KO. I'll try harder...

3. The kids have pretty improved... not sure if it is because they have grown up a little and thus easier to handle nowadays.

4. I am attending a 5 months course on financial mgmt for mature women. So far I am enjoying every sessions of it!

Silence...

Wow... It has been a long time since I last blogged. With HC travelling for a week, kids falling ill one after another and worse this time is boy went down for a 2nd round after he is well for less than a week. With fever nearing to 40 degree, stayed around 38.5 degree refusing to come down only after 7th day of his fever... It was the antibiotic that was given on the 5th day that got the temperature down on the 7th day. Phew... Mummy is really tired... I am really glad jh's fever has subsided though he has lost some weight.
