Last evening while our family were having dinner, YS asked me to go back to work... :( She said 'Mummy, I wanna go full day school. Every time I come back from school you are busy cooking and don't have time to play with me! I wanna play with my friends in school then!' Oh No... This is an alert to me... I am really spending lots of time in the kitchen that the kids are left to watch the tv pgms or play by themselves when I'm preparing my meals which normally I need 1 hr to get dinner ready not including washing up the dishes. I am GUILTY to her words, I feel bad but I am aware of this all this while.
So for today when YS came back from school I played with her and di di for 45 mins before I prepared dinner. Tonight, I put aside the dishes after dinner and played with them. Finally got to wash the dishes after they are in bed. Guess I really need to think of ways to cut down on the time I spent on my chores... If not, my princess is going to abandon me soon.
